Students across all year levels at Nuriootpa High School will, this week, participate in a mini school-based wellbeing survey.
“This short check-in will give us valuable, real-time insight into how our students are feeling and engaging this term, allowing us to respond quickly and provide the right support where it’s needed,” explains Ms Niki McCarthy, Director of People and Culture.
The anonymous ten-question survey will be conducted once a term in addition to the Department for Education’s annual Wellbeing and Engagement Collection (WEC) survey, and aligns with the school’s Site Learning Plan 2025-29 goal to grow school climate and engagement.
“It’s designed to be quick and straightforward, but the impact of this information can be really significant for both individual students and our broader wellbeing approach,” says Ms McCarthy.
Students are encouraged to provide honest reflections on their experiences, and if needed, to reach out for further support by either talking to their homegroup teacher or a member of the wellbeing team
