Senior Special Class students at Nuriootpa High School have this week launched their Tuesday’s Tradie Café as part of their numeracy studies.

Led by teacher Ms Natalie Halls-Jones, students will plan, prepare and sell fresh, simple meals each Tuesday throughout Term 3. The student-developed, ‘tradie’ favourites inspired menu includes delicious classics such as pies, burgers and yiros, plus and sweet treats like chocolate brownies and muffins.

“This hands-on program provides valuable opportunities for students to develop practical skills in business, hospitality, teamwork, customer service, food preparation and workplace communication,” explained Ms Halls-Jones.
