Last Thursday Nuriootpa High School welcomed Mr Ajay Yadav, global development advocate and co-founder of Youth Hive Nepal, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to integrating entrepreneurial learning into education and empowering young people to think innovatively.
Mr Yadav works in partnership with Young Change Agents Australia, the organisation co-delivering the national Entrepreneurial Schools 2026-27 project, which Nuriootpa High School are involved in.
“By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, we equip young people with the tools to think innovatively, take initiative, lead change in their communities….and thrive in an evolving world,” explains Mr Yadav.
Nuriootpa High School Youth Council members had the opportunity to meet Mr Yadav and hear first-hand about his education experience in Nepal, his tertiary study abroad and his work with youth, both within Nepal and globally, to build leadership, civic engagement and cross-cultural collaboration.
Across the day Mr Yadav also met with Nuriootpa High School leadership staff and spent time in both junior HASS classes and senior Society and Culture and Women’s Studies classes and also recorded an interview for an upcoming episode of Agency Now, NHS’s podcast.
