Materials and Services Charge (school fees)

The Materials and Services Charge is set annually and covers items and services provided to support your child’s curriculum. It does not include staffing, teacher resources, facilities, or operational costs, which are funded by the Department for Education.

The charge is determined through a consultation process with the school community, guided by the Department for Education and the principal. An invoice will be sent by post at the start of the school year. Payment can be made in full or by installments. Please contact the Finance Office to arrange payment by installment.

Other charges

Students are responsible for their own laptops, calculators, and stationery relevant to their year level. These are not included in the Materials and Services Charge.

Additional costs may apply for certain subjects, excursions, camps, or extracurricular activities, and these will be communicated prior to enrolment. Costs associated with Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs are also outlined in the curriculum guide.

School card

The South Australian Government’s School Card scheme offers financial assistance to low-income families to help cover the Materials and Services Charge. Income limits apply, and proof of income (e.g. payslips or Centrelink documentation) is required.

To apply, complete School Card Application Form A, available at SA.GOV.AU and return to the Finance Office at the start of the school year.

Building fund

Donations to the school’s Building Fund are welcomed but not compulsory. Any amount is appreciated, and donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.

To donate, contact the Finance Office.
