BAROSSA SCHOLAR SHIRAZ - 2017

More complex and structured when compared to the ‘Barossa Shiraz’. Darker plum type characteristics. On nose- a savouriness with a more complex note, warm spices / black olive, with a little hazelnut from the oak. Wine also exhibits Dutch liquorice and wet tobacco characteristics, which adds to the structural complexity. On the palate, the wine exhibits chewy tannins from the oak with a richer/fuller style.
